BALLER X respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information provided by customers, parents, guardians and players.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and the choices available to you.

3. YOUNG PLAYERS AND PARENT/GUARDIAN INVOLVEMENT
BALLER X is designed to be used by youth football players as well as adults.
We recognise that children’s personal information requires particular care.
Purchases and paid memberships for players under 18 must be made or authorised by a parent or legal guardian.
Where required, we ask a parent or guardian to provide or confirm permission before a young player submits personal information or challenge videos.
We aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate BALLER X.
Parents or guardians can contact us at james.henry@ballerx.co.uk if they have questions about information relating to their child or wish to request appropriate access, correction or deletion.
4. CHALLENGE VIDEOS
BALLER X players may upload videos of challenge attempts so that we can verify scores, administer competitions and maintain accurate results.
Submitted challenge videos may be stored using third-party technology providers that help us operate the upload and storage service.
Submitting a challenge video for score verification does not, by itself, give BALLER X permission to use a child’s image or video publicly for advertising, social-media content or other promotional purposes.
Where we wish to use identifiable content involving a young player publicly for promotional purposes, we will seek appropriate parent or guardian permission where required.
5. LEADERBOARDS
BALLER X may publish competition information such as a player’s approved display name or first name/initial, score, ranking and achievement on BALLER X leaderboards.
We aim to avoid publishing unnecessary personal information about young players.
6. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell children’s personal information.
We may share information with trusted service providers where reasonably necessary to operate BALLER X, including providers involved in:
• Website and ecommerce hosting
• Payment processing
• Order fulfilment and delivery
• Video/file uploading and storage
• Email and communications
• Website security and analytics.
Our ecommerce website is powered by Shopify. Shopify processes certain personal information in order to provide its services.
Challenge videos may be processed or stored through Uploadcare, which provides technology used for video/file uploads.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our legal rights or the safety and security of our services.
7. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Some technology providers we use may process or store information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps, or rely on our service providers to implement appropriate safeguards, as required by applicable data-protection law.
8. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing BALLER X services, maintaining appropriate business and competition records, resolving disputes and meeting legal, accounting or regulatory requirements.
Challenge videos and player information will not be kept indefinitely where they are no longer reasonably required for BALLER X purposes.
9. SECURITY
We take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information.
However, no online service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.
10. COOKIES AND WEBSITE TECHNOLOGY
Our website and service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand website use, provide security and, where permitted, support analytics or marketing.
Where required, you can manage your cookie choices through the consent controls provided on our website.

These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by law.
To make a privacy request, contact james.henry@ballerx.co.uk.
We may need to verify the identity or authority of the person making a request before providing or changing personal information, particularly where information relates to a young player.

Our website may contain links to or use services operated by third parties. Those organisations may have their own privacy policies and practices.
